My name is Caroline and I am a Cancer Survivor! February 14, 1995, Valentine's night, I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma - Cancer of the Kidney. I was also malnourished and had to be fed intravenously for two days before they could operate. The doctors did not expect me to live & neither did I. Although part of me did die - I lost my left kidney and my left adrenal gland - I lived! God had other plans for my life! Recovery was long and difficult. There comes a time in one's life when in order for the physical body and the emotional self to heal, dramatic lifestyle changes must by made. I kept an open mind and as the changes were revealed to me, I made them. The following are just a few of the major lifestyle changes I was called on to make. First to enter my awareness was Colon Hydrotherapy. For 14 days after leaving the hospital, I was suffering from constipation. My recovery was now jeopardized from intestinal toxemia, parasites, and severe impactions. Colonics gave me a chance for full recovery. A drastic change took place in my diet. I went from eating meats to eating fruits, veggies and more whole grains. I began to supplement my foods with vitamins and minerals. I installed a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter so I could drink water at least 99% pure. Building up my immune system was of paramount importance. I did parasite kills every six months followed by two Colonics. Massage Therapy became a way of life for me. Acupuncture and Chiropractic sessions soon followed. So many changes, and not always easy. But 13 years later I am cancer free! Actually I can honestly say that I am grateful for my Cancer because it forced me to change my life in order to save it. In 2002, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer that was actually CAUSED by the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) my doctor had put me on. I opted to have the lump surgically removed and to use all the Alternative knowledge I had gained to recover and keep it from coming back. I did not choose to do any Chemo or Radiation although my surgeon advised me to. It is now 6 years since this happened to me and I am Cancer Free. I attended a Detox Center for Cancer, and other diseases in Colorado with one of my clients who also had breast cancer. I had a chance to learn that everything I was already doing and sharing with my clients was right and was being taught at that clinic. In the Journal of Longevity 1999, Vol. 5 #5, there is a quote from Dr. John Harvey Kellogg made over a century ago. "90% of the diseases of civilization are due to improper function of the colon." Constipation is one of the most common afflictions of the human race and diseases of the digestive organs are the most common reasons an individual seeks the advice of a physician. The constipation condition may lead to intestinal toxemia which is a form of blood poisoning. This is caused by the absorption of bacteria and their toxins through the intestinal wall.
